Natural gourd with decorated rim and base totally handmade in Alpaca (German silver) by skilled artisans from Argentina. Alpaca bombilla straw spring filter, also decorated with Alpaca design. Excellent craftsmanship. Spring filter can be opened for an easy cleaning. To prepare the mate infusion, fill the mate gourd with yerba mate up to 3/4 of its capacity. Pour a little bit of hot water (not boiled) (Approx. 158º F). Wait a few seconds and replenish the mate with more hot water. Then insert the bombilla straw into the mate. Sip gently the infusion using the bombilla. Please note that because each piece is handmade there will be slight variations in sizes and design.
