To prepare the mate infusion, fill the mate gourd with yerba mate up to 3/4 of its capacity. Pour a little bit of hot water (not boiled) (Approx. 158º F). Wait a few seconds and replenish the mate with more hot water. Then insert the bombilla straw into the mate. Sip gently the infusion using the bombilla.
